The Best of Kenya: Fashion Stylist and Blogger Silvia Njoki Kamau
Silvia has been nominated and won in two categories at this years Bloggers Association of Kenya Awards: #Bakeawards2015. The Best of the World Network supported this Best Fashion/Beauty/Hair/Style Blog and Kenyan Blog Of The Year! Thanks to everyone who voted for Silvia: our team efforts made a difference. Silvia Njoki is a famous Kenyan fashion stylist and blogger, passionate about fashion and beauty. Not only for herself, but also for you! She wants you to be the best you can be! We share the same vision and mission and we both left our jobs to pursue our dreams. In my case, I want to feature you at your BEST - promoting and supporting your talents, expertise, awards and anything that makes you unique and special, just like supporting Silvia in this blog article.
Silvia Njoki lives and works in Nairobi. She is the creator and inspirational manager of the blog Style by Silvia. Her blog was created in 2013 as a creative outlet for her DIY activities in pursuit of dressing her daughter, but gradually evolved into a more fashion oriented platform for sharing her personal style on the social media scene. Silvia has been highly recommended to us by one of our former colleagues from the United Nations - a perfect proof that the world is small and that we are inter-connected, as one Global Family.
Silvia studied fashion styling at University of the Arts London, Central Saint Martin, UK and Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano, Italy and traveled widely abroad. She also worked for fashion shows in London, Mauritius, Rwanda and Tanzania and in her country Kenya. As a fashion writer she has contributed to the ARISE Magazine, London, and for the past four years the Standard Media Group in Kenya where she was employed as a fashion journalist and entertainment writer. Silvia also contributed with her styling skills to a range of TV shows.
I wear clothes that speak to me” she confides, adding that her style can best be described as “Unpredictable”.

If there is one particular garment you have been hunting for but just don’t seem to be able to find, Silvia could even do the shopping for you, or advise you on how to pick another alternative option which fits your personal style and the occasion.
