The Best of the World Network in association with ATA WORLDWIDE and Maria Petrak Promotions attended the 19th BRIDE Show in Dubai which presented 250 brands, exclusive bridal and couture fashion shows, world renowned celebrity designers and experts from who’s who in the wedding, fashion and lifestyle industry.

BRIDE Dubai 2016 celebrated the unparalleled success of its most large scale, interactive and dynamic female-focused consumer event to date, highlighting and further cementing it as the leading bridal show in the Middle East. 2016 saw over 10,000 visitors, seven celebrity ambassadors, 250 exhibitors, an array of VIP guests, and 42 fashion shows and main stage demonstrations, truly setting a new precedent for the bridal focused consumer.
Leading the way for wedding and lifestyle events, a unique blend of beauty, jewellery, Arabic and couture fashion, entertainment, venues and honeymoon destinations generated astonishing growth through a diverse retail offering and engaging consumer experience for brides to be and fashion conscious ladies. Suzy Pallett, Event Director, comments: “Overseeing this event from start to finish has been an astonishing progression and educational journey.
From bringing together a range of wonderful exhibitors to managing the fantastic on ground team, we’ve really seen the show come to life. With so many new features and working with a creative mix of personalities, seeing a final product has been a proud moment for all involved. This year we have taken it one step further and created the ultimate go-to bridal show in the region, we are delighted with the feedback both from exhibitors and guests and look forward to carrying this achievement through to the Abu Dhabi show in April”
Throughout the four-day event at the Dubai World Trade Center, a range of new features and exclusive content was launched for the first time, which created a truly immersive and interactive experience. Many exhibitors participated in the event, Vera Futorjanski, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Vaniday explains “We thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the Bride event! Our stand has been busy non-stop” With a range of visitors through the doors there was something for everyone at this years show, Emeline, founder of the blog Addicted-To-Life who is a bride-to-be explains “The highlights of the show this year for me where the Nail Art, Japanese bakery and Gourmet popcorn!”
Seven celebrity ambassadors hosted demonstrations and meet and greets for visiting fashion enthusiasts. Celebrity talent and VIPs included the likes of Joelle Mardinian, Farhana Bodi, Basma Al Fahim, Shiekha Hend and Dana Wolley amongst others, Farhana Bodi, Founder of Woman of The World Blog explains: “I really enjoyed the Bride show, I saw many niche brands and boutiques it was a great mix of brands from all around the world and it had a great energy.
The newly launched Recycled Runway Awards judged by Tala Samman, Basma Al Fahim and Aishwarya Ajit announced this years winner from over 100 nominees, giving all students, professionals and domestic goddesses the opportunity to allow their creative passions to breakthrough. The winners were Maria Rousella Perez from Creative Cola FZ under the Professional’s category and Amna Ayad from University of Sharjah under the Student’s category.
Furthermore, an interactive and exclusive Beauty Lounge welcomed all ladies of Dubai, initiated by Marquee and The Nail Spa. “Bride To Be”, the go-to bridal beauty concierge service from Marquee was presented as well as The Nail Spa’s new ArtBar concept, an innovative lab for nail design. Bianca Ellis, Marketing Manager explains; “The show has been brilliant to engage and speak with new brides-to-be and introduce the new bridal offerings, brand awareness is really important for us, at BRIDE we were able to speak with a range of guests and access a wider audience.”
“Forever Rose”, producers of beautifully long-enduring flowers and industry experts in the bridal field, showcased unique arrangements that last a lifetime; perfect for weddings and gifting. The CEO, Ebraheem Al Samadi, explains “BRIDE Dubai is very important for brand awareness and many customers had great feedback on our stand, we are looking forward to being involved in the Abu Dhabi show and meeting further customers from across the region.” Exclusively at the Bride Show as an exhibitor and an ambassador, Glossy Make-Up is the go to in creating that special bridal look. Natasha said “this year has been amazing, we have sold so much product and had plenty of visitors to the stand. It was great to see so many ambassadors and VIP influencers at the show which created a real buzz.”
Amongst a large variety of segments, another key highlight included the Amato by Furne One closing show. Amato set a new precedent of fashion talent involved in the interactive event by closing the whirlwind four-day occasion with a simply stunning, never-before-seen collection on the catwalk; detailed embellishment, soft hues, flowing chiffon and subtle sparkle, exclusively launched at BRIDE Dubai. Designers, florists, jewellers and many others showcased their latest collections and ideas to inspire and excite budding brides to be, the most successful event to date BRIDE looks on to recreate the show-stopping event in Abu Dhabi on the 13th – 16th April 2016.
